I was just using it @1.1 on the rubber weatherstripping inside the Kia. Looks good. After I finished with the rubber, I wiped the plastic floor molding just inside the door with the excess product I had on the pad and man does it look good! And because of its watery consistency it applies super easy.

Does anyone use Hyper Dressing on plastic/vinyl interiors? If so how do you like it? How's the longevity?
Nowhere on the label does it mention anything about it providing UV protection. How big of a deal do you think that is?

I usually use Meguiars New Car Scent Protectant inside this car, it has light cleaning ability, UV protection and smells good, but it doesn't last very long.

Glad to hear positive things about it! I've got some on the way and can't wait to use it as I am totally out of dressing!(not trying to hijack this thread, just have a question)At 1:1 how shiny is it when applied to tires? Or is it more of a sheen?

Man this stuff looks good😊
And no worries, hijack all you want. The more talk the better😉

Here's a pic of Hyper Dressing @1.1 just after spraying it on.

Here's a few pics of how it looks shorty after it's had time to set. Pretty shiny @1.1 I like it.

This is what you can expect it to look like the next day.. It loses a bit of its super shiny look, but it leaves a nice rich black look on the tires.

You seem to get the most shine from it by "spray on walk away" method of applying it.. But that tends to create a little bit of overspray if there's any wind. So now I apply with a flag tipped brush. Works perfectly.

In my business we use Hyper Dressing on the exterior and Meguiars #40 on interior plastic and vinyl surfaces.

I love M40 on rubber floor mats, really rejuvenates them. Just make sure to go over the drivers mat after application with a wet towel so it's not too slippery. I wasn't a fan of the smell at first, but over time, I've really started to enjoy it.

Hyper dressing at 4:1 is my preference on interior surfaces and 2:1 on engine bays. It's really versatile stuff.

if i were doing this as a business i would definitely have hyper dressing in the arsenal. it can be used for tires, trim, wheel wells, engines, and interiors. every since i discovered PERL, i haven't used hyper dressing since. both are great products though and you can't go wrong with either...

Is hyper dressing water based or silicon based? I do like the results, however, I really don't like using silicon based products for interiors, rubber trim and moldings.

It's water based

I love Hyper Dressing. It's such a versatile product for the price. I use it at 1:1 for tires. 4:1 for wheel wells and engine bays. I think it gives just the perfect amount of gloss for a water based dressing. Granted durability is not that great but that should be expected for a water based dressing.

All i use for my wheel wells. 4:1 SOWA Always leaves a perfect finish there.

Thanks everyone for the replies. It's nice to see Hyper Dressing get some luv. [it seems to bearly be mentioned these days]

This is probably my favorite before/after shot of using it @1:1. For anyone who's on the fence about trying it.

Yup, I keep it simple as us HD straight out the bottle

looking good Ric. I also use it 1:1 but love that you can dilute it down for less shine.
