Because everyone doesn't use it often, we've started shipping it with a screw on lid and the sprayer seperate. If you may not use it for 30 days or so, remove the sprayer, spray the contents back into the bottle and replace the screw on lid. Optionally you can spray some warm soapy water thru the sprayer before storage.
Thats what I've been doing on Nick's recommendation - works fine. Instead of the soapy water I use IPA 70% at full strength then just flush with water.
