Hyper Wash

Yes, another huge fan of Megs Hyper Wash here! Personally I'm glad it doesn't have wax in it. I feel like it probably has more cleaning ability without it.

I just wish AG sold the 5 gallon containers of Megs Professional Detailer line of products. Would save me from going elsewhere and I'm sure others would want it as well.

I second this, hopefully Nick is listening. There are some of us who do "production detailing" and purchase nearly all our products in 5 or even 55 gallon portions. I understand the issue with it, however... DOT regulations on transporting large containers of liquids are strict and shipping gets really expensive.

Picked up a gallon for 18.69 through supplier and absolutely love it in my foam cannon.

Absolutely no comparison to gold class!

Goodness gracious, you guys have nothing but rave reviews. I gotta get some.

So you don't dilute the soap in your foam cannon? I suppose it's cheap enough to use it like that! I'm interested in picking some of this up lol. Hope the AutoZone across the street has some. Will it work the same for regular foam guns?

Nope... I do not.

My PW (well the one I use on vehicles) is a 1700 psi 1.3 gpm electric. I'll use full strength shampoo, turn the foam up almost all the way, and use about ½" of the liquid foaming. I generally foam twice (plus some) and don't use a full 1".

Now if I dilute the shampoo say 50/50... I'll use a LOT more liquid to get anywhere near the same foam.

I've not tried Hyperwash full strength in the cannon yet, but I imagine if I did it'd hardly use any.

I mix it because the CG or DG stuff is a bit slicker, (especially the DG) whereas Hyperwash is crazy thick and sticky foam. :xyxthumbs:

Tony I get the double Grit Guards in the rinse bucket, but that's around 2 gallons of u unused wash solution if you use 2 in the wash bucket.

Awesome! I have a couple CG soaps: Honeydew snowfoam and Citrus wash. Just waiting for better weather.

Okay Tony, I'll guess you're gonna have a good laugh to hear that I've been putting about 2-3 oz in the bottle and the rest water when I use the foam gun. It seems to make plenty of suds. However you got me really curious. I'm gonna try going 50/50. If a couple of oz makes a lot of foam, I can only imagine.

Yup. :)
But... I don't use much of it. ;)
I'll top it off that first use, then next use if I need any water in it I'll top it off again. After using that wash solution twice I pour it in the wheel bucket. :xyxthumbs:

I'm going to have to dig up those photos in my phone.
There was a foam cannon thread a while back that made me think about taking those photos that day. I actually marked the bottle, took shots of the car, foamed it twice, then more shots of the bottle. Next time I took even more shots of the bottle.

Come to think of it...
I have YET to add more shampoo to that bottle, that still has probably 3½" in it.
That was 3 washes ago, a couple foams each, for my G35, 2 washes for CarMomma's Envoy Denali, and one 'quickie' of the boys 4Runner.

How does it affect LSPs?
It could very well depend on which
LSPs you want to talk about.

IMO..."The Good Ones"...upon attaining their
recommended "cure-times"...should then be:
hyposensitized to most car-wash
shampoos---including HyperWash.

I have others in the arsenal but once I started using Hyper wash I haven't used anything else, stuff is awesome!!

I use 3oz, and can do 3-4 cars foaming twice each car

I agree. :)
I had always diluted my solution, to various degrees.... all the while searching for that 'perfect" dilution-solution. ;)
Then one day I figured "why not" and put 100% shampoo in the cannon.

Best idea EVER!

Get better foam and use less shampoo than I ever did before. Well.... Hyperwash (SURELY) helped! :D

Used 1oz in 4-5 gallons in bucket and it did not seem sudsy or have much lubricity when I started to wash. Had to add 1-2 more oz. to get an acceptable concentration.

Has this been your experience? I liked it....my first use.

I use 1.5 ounces per 4 gals. I fill the bucket with about 3.5 gals of straight water. Add 1.5 ounces of soap, put the jet steam nozzle on the hose and "blast" fill the remaining 1/2 gallon. That'll put about a 6 inch "head" of foam on it. Great lubricity.
