First off, I wanted to thank Autogeek, and all of you for such a great forum.
I started day one of my vacation this week, and did my first detail with the PC. :buffing:
How did I manage 3 orders in a two week period?
Just a quick rundown of all the products used, and purchased from Autogeek. Sorry for such a long post, but I just had to share.

Exterior:

Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion
Pinnacle Souvern Paste Wax
Pinnacle XMT Intermediate Swirl Remover #3
Pinnacle XMT Ultra Fine Swirl Remover #1
Pinnacle Ultra poly clay

DP Krystal Vision
Poorboys bug squash
And more Cobra towels than I can count...But I want more.:righton:

Interior:
Pinnacle Leather & Vinyl Cleaner
Pinnacle Leather Conditioner
Pinnacle Vinyl and Rubber Protectant...She smells so delicious.

On with the pics.
This is my first time to use the PC 7424 or any other buffer for that matter, so she is not perfect.

Looking sweet! Congrats on the order and welcome to AG !

Wow, that paint is glowing! Nice job - how long did it all take with all the steps?

a tip on the pc:

If you have a bathroom scale, push down till it reads 10 pounds. After 10 pounds, the pc is effectively doing nothing.

I put one hand on the head of the pc to apply the pressure to the 10 pounds I measures on the scale and move the body with my other hand. You want to work in 2x2 ft sections about. Go Up-> down and the diagonally from side to side in the work area, then I crank it down to 4 for a final pass going left to right. This ensures you effectively cover every part of the paint area with maximum even spread of the compound. Dont go too fast as you will micro marr the paint.

This has been the method I use, and let me tell you, it has gotten out some serious defects with the right products. :) Oh and top that paint with a good nuba' ! Sealnt + nuba = better :D

It being my first time...lol
It took me 4 days from scratch to get to this point.
one of those days the Wolfgang Sealant spent curing.

OMG! Being a newbie with the PC as you are, and after seeing your first job, it's the best inspiration I can get. I can't wait for my order to arrive!!!
