I have a 2007 Toyota Avalon......the paint is in good condition........I started with 4 star cleaner wax...then 4 star total protection.......then a day later uses s100 to top it off....did i do it right.....now should I use s100 or total protection.....in 3 to 4 months.......also i am using duraglass spraywax after each wash....Help
 
sure - as they say here:

"Find something that you like and use it often"

it's that simple....

add a good wash - Meguires gold class is OTC and good stuff...

First, Get the car "right":
1. wash: meguire's gold class at any auto parts store
2. meguire's smooth clay and clay lubricant like ONR
3. Wax on/off a coat of Meguire's Ultimate compound

two buckets , wash mitt and some MF towels

From here I would stay inside a product line as they compliment each other:

two examples:
Blackfire Total polish and seal (my fav)
Blackfire Crystal Seal
Blackfire Wet Diamond spray
or
Ultima paint prep
Ultima Paint Guard plus
Ultima Spray

a more conventional approach would be 2 coats of inexpensive Collonite 845 and be done with it - follow with Durgloss aquawax after washes...

all this stuff is great by hand....

with this you'll be more detailed than any car in your neighborhood....

Outlander ....I used.......Four Star Ultimate..Pre-wax cleanser ..then....Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection.....them waited a day and used S100.....you can get it in a Harley Davidson dealer.......I do ues a Porter Cable 7424....buffer..I have to say the car came out great........I am not a professional......just enjoy doing my car and my fanily cars.....hope this was a help.
 
just to let you know Four Star products are easy on..... easy off....S100 is compared to P21s........it might be the same.....thats what I read.....
