I've got idk looks like tar, hard as hell to take off. I tried about two or three separate times.
I've tried clay nano pad, picking off with finger nail, Tarminator by Stoner, and I just can't get it off. It's on my plastic door panel on my 01 escape.
Any ideas would be great thanks guys.
 
Try goo gone. Spray the area with soapy water in a spray bottle then a bit of goo gone and agitate lightly then slightly harder to see if it comes out?
 
Did you let the Tarminator sit on the tar for a minute or two so it started to bleed?
 
I'll grab some pictures in the morning.
I'll see if I have goo gone and give that a whirl
And for the terminator, I left it on. There for about 1 1/2 min. Twice actually.
 
I had some seal coating that was on my 2002 truck for years.Just learned about detailing in January of this year so I tried Tarminator because of the reviews and low price. I got it off with the Pinnacle bug sponge and 4-5 sprays then scrub gently each spray.I kept checking for damage between scrubs to the surrounding paint and it did get some light marring. I was going to compound with Wolfgang Uber Compound after anyway so I did and it is now shining. The paint is still stained if you get 6" close you can see a shadow of the seal coat.I did not want to go any more aggressive and break through the 13 year old clear coat. I hope you get the results you can live with.
