I Cry Foul on Product Working Time

I'm sorry, but I call "FOUL" on these videos and instructions that tell me to work the PCDA for "Three to five minutes with a quarter-size amount of product over a 2X2 area". I would be extremely interested to know in the H*** get that working time. Really -- who? Time it. I get one pass, maybe two if I spritz--and it is about a minute, absolute tops. Indoors.
If you use more product, it will take even MORE time to break down. And if it doesn't, then your left with small swirls/scratches from the product not being properly broken down.

And yes, I've timed myself working many times.

The long time of removing swirls has made me give up personally. Haven't had any good results yet with xmt 1,2,3,4. I'm just going to only buy white or silver cars and be done with it. swirls never bothered me before I got on this forum lol. It will be polish and wax from now on.

that's why i'm all for xmt 360 and PwS, because I like buffing my car, but I don't always like to do the multistep process. Then again, i do have a blue car.

Do any of you that spend 30+ minutes buffing a single panel with a PC ever think about switching to a rotary to save time?

Absolutely. I already have switched.

It took polishing 2 really bad cars all day with the PC to get me to switch. I still sometimes use the PC for lighter work, and for applying Prime/AIO/sealants, but no more day-long PC polishing marathons for me.

It took me spending a few weeks with the PC and my Volvo to switch to the rotary and the Cyclo. I really the rotary.

Yes, but on black, I get holograms at high noon.
