When I was cleaning this car it had stuff all over all the vents the switches and the door handles. How are supposed to clean all this? Even the dash pad over the gauge cluster was all sticky.

With the Maseratis I've done so far, the interior seems a little finicky but easy to fix. I found that using Ultima Interior Shampoo for cleaning works very well and leaves no residue behind. I apply to tighter spaces (around the trunk buttons, vents, change holder, handles, gauges) using an edge foam detailing swab. To larger areas a tampico brush works well. Then for the black softtouch plastics I leave naked, the larger areas receive UIGP.

The Maserati materials take some special attention and sometimes a waffle weave towel is better than a plush microfiber for cleaning. Cleaning the interior is pretty easy, but dressing it properly takes some work. You may want to dress all the dash and door panels twice to make future care easier.

Well the car I did had some type of sticky stuff clumped all over the vents and stuff. It looked like it was a rubber material that had melted from the sun. I couldn't get pics because he took the car before I could get pics of it.

Poor quality materials and coatings. Makes for nicer looking plastic until it breaks down. Not much you can do about it. I've seen the problems on European cars primarily, from VW to Ferrari.
