I think I prefer the 04's to the 05-06. Now I prefer the LS2 motors of the 05-06 but the simple hood and dual single exit exhuast just looks so much better!
On the detail I think it looks good! What did you do all together though?
Also you need to black out your headlights and tail lights and go for the full murdered out look.

I like the headlights cause from the factory they have the black backing. These VX tail lights are high dollar and set me apart from the other GTO's around here...no way I could cover those. LOL.
I washed the car with wolfgang wash.
Clayed it with zaino clay and wolfgang lube.
Used a pc and a white sonus 5"pad (their middle strength pad) and went over the car with menzerna po106fa. Then used a spot pad to get the tight areas.
Used a pc and the blue lake county pad and jeweled the paint with po85rd.
Alcohol wipe down.
Washed the car again with wolfgang.
Used wolfgang 3.0 on whole car and wheels.
Wolfgang tire shine.
After the 3.0 cured I went over the car with wolfgang fuzion.
The car did not require much correction because I had done it earlier this year and topped with souveran.
