Yes, you did. :D Quick question regarding the clay. About how much use can I get out of a half bar of clay?

It depends on how bad the car's contamination is. I clayed my car when it was brand new and had to throw the bar away. Once you'll do it you'll see better what we mean. You spray the clay lube first (do it out of direct sunlight) and rub the clay back and forth across the surface of the paint. work in small sections so the lube doesn't dry up too fast. When you first rub the clay you will feel it tug or pull a little, that's the clay gripping onto the contaminants. When it glides smooth then you know the contaminants have been removed. Inspect your clay often. Pull out any pieces that you find in there and knead the clay often to expose fresh clay. If it's the first time you've clayed this vehicle don't be surprised if you have to throw the clay away afterwards. But fortunately you don't have to clay very often and you will still have the other half for when you need to do it again. I hope this helps. you. :)

Thanks a lot. That does help. One more clay question though. :) Since I am waiting until next week to place my order for everything, is there any negative if I clay it now and don't get around to polishing and waxing until next week or the week after? It doesn't strip off any existing wax along with the contaminants, just if there is wax build up, right? Thanks again.

The clay will remove existing wax. It's best to either wait to clay til you get all your stuff or if you don't want to wait then just make sure to apply a layer of wax after to protect it until you can detail it fully.
