I Got My Trailer Today!!!!!!

now go get some black wheels w/ polished lip to match the stang :-)
 
haha i can see some people are debating if they like it or not....hey....im 19 paying for a car, insurance, trailer, appt, and about to get a moped for gas saver..and going to college lol...if i had the money i would easly buy a truck...the stang pulls this trailer sooo easly....it weighs bout 1750 with everything on it......i got it from a guy about 10 miles from me wich is really cool...he is the owner of detrailers.com ...they do a great job on these things...the generators are 5 hp hondas...the tank is a 50 gallon tank...i am deff gonna paint the wheels plack when i get a chance ....and im workin out the glitches to make it ride level...with my car lowered its a little hard lol...i paid 2750 for the trailer wich is pretty nice and having the guy build it 10 miles away i will take it in a heart beat....any other questions just let me know..thanks for all the comments..keep them coming
 
It is just that everyone has gotten used to trucks pulling trailers....my 65 mustang has the lights and all it needs is the hitch to pull.... funny how we now think a car can't pull things like they used to.....

With the live axle, might be able to adapt some air bag helper springs (not really springs) available aftermarket for trucks. I had a set on an older truck, so when towing something heavy I could inflate them to get it level again. Drove even better then stock. Mine were made by Firestone.
 
Your trailer looks great! You seem to be a level headed, industrious young guy.
You're also a talented detailer with a very nice set-up. :applause:

I am almost positive they make somthing like that for the mustang, but it is geared more for drag racing. I have a set on my car that I inflate at the track to stop spring compression and wheel hop off of the line. It does raise the rear a good two-three inches, so it may be somthing to look into for the mustang. They may not have it for the live axle GT's, but I know the Cobra's with the IRS have the same spring issues as the GTO's, so you may be able to look there.

ya thats how i found the guy, i was actully looking on ebay ..kinda funny..he told me my setup is gonna make him sell alot of trailers lol..thanks for all the comments guys

Until recently, my son had a 6cyl Pony. You GT's could not resist coming along side and goading him into a battle he could not win.:) Flowmasters on a GT is one pretty sound.
