I Hate Ups

:righton:Im the MANRefund is in my PAYPAL ALREADY!?!?!??!? WOW

I am speechless!

DAMN DAMN that is one damaged box if I've ever seen one!

You guys would be surprised how some of my projects get delivered. I have had customers send me pictures ranging from boxes and boxes of desktops being left in the rain to soak up really nicely to forklift trucks poking right through entire deliveries of laptops...

my mom works at ups in the warehouse and a leaking box has to be HASMAT checked. theyre supposed to basically stop everything, get that box out of their and have the hasmat responder check it out. thats where they should have realized they needed to pay you back for your merchandise, and repack what was salvagable haha. but yea seriously they screwed this up in multiple ways. unless it happened inside the actual truck.... then the drivers responsible.
atleast AG can always be counted on to fix these kinds of issues!

UPS has a long lost legacy that they will never regain.
After you make a claim with them, they won't leave packages at the door any more, they want you to sign for everything.. What do you think, we're gonna stay home from work all day to receive a package, "not" ... The problem mostly lies with them, not a customer, go figure...

The UPS guy that brings my stuff is pretty cool, if I'm outside he always brings it straight to me and shoots the breeze about cars and what not. Although that package is pretty jacked up. I'd be pissed as hell.

I got some car wash soap from another company one time and the lid wasn't on tight and about 1/4 of it leaked out. Fed Ex brought that one to me, he actually hand delivered a box that was dripping soap everywhere like nothing was wrong. They ended up replacing it but it just made me mad.

Couple years back I ordered a Optima Deep Cycle battery ($190 battery) they shipped it fed ex and ended up having to send out 3 of them because they mysteriously disappeared while they were in route to my house. Delivery companies suck sometimes.

Funny, I received a package from the west coast with a few Christmas items today. Yes, it was UPS and it looked like they dropped your package on top of mine! Luckily the items were clothing.
DHL delivered an electric scooter on Christmas eve for my son, that had to have been dropped 30 ft. It was all smashed and useless. And the delivery guy couldn't figure out why I refused delivery.
Fed EX leaves my packages across the street leaning against my mailbox come rain, snow sleet or crooks. Go figure!
I guess it's the nature of the beast!
One more story. 25 years ago, the UPS guy comes up to my door and drops a package over the railing onto the porch deck. A fall of about 3 feet. I hit the floor flat on my face.
You should have seen the color drain from the delivery guy's face when I told him he had just dropped 10,000 large rifle primers on the deck, and that we were both lucky to be alive! The explosive force from that package would have been very serious indeed!
UPS? I think their all the same!

Honestly Im still amazed on how quickly Meghan handled this situation..... Im speechless...

And this is why I have my packages shipped to work :) No need to worry about Mr. UPS leaving it in the rain or for someone to take. However, the damage in the pictures looks like it happened at the warehouse somewhere ... ridiculous. But AG is great and takes care of any situation :).

I guess everyone has a UPS story. A few years ago a bought a Valentine radar detector that was to be shipped by UPS. I never recieved the package
and so I contacted the company who told me it was delivered a week and a half
ago. Valentine told me to file a claim with UPS as they were informed it had been delivered and it was up to me to file a claim with UPS. After calling to
file a claim and give a statement as to what happened, what kind of statement can I give, I ordered it and it never came, they sent an investigator to my home to go over my claim with me, what a joke. They concluded the package was stolen from the steps in front of my front door. I'm in a pretty nice area and I really doubt thats what happened but if that's what floats their boat it's good for me. After they sent payment to Valentine, not to me, I recieved a new detector abouot two weeks later. This time it had to be signed for and after this any thing I got by UPS had to be signed for. I'm starting to think of Ace Ventura Pet Detective in the start of the movie. Wonder who he was supposed to be dressed like lol.

Thats pitiful that they would leave it like that.especially since everyone whos mentioned and I KNOW personally, that Autogeek doesnt mess around when they package...I hope UPS has to reimburse Autogeek.

Honestly Im still amazed on how quickly Meghan handled this situation..... Im speechless...

That is sweet, thank you. But that one wasn't real hard to fix... UPS dropped a large brick on your box, killed all of your items. So we sent you out a new one. End of story! LOL;)
Yours was an easy fix, not all of them are that easy!

That stinks and great work Meghan, everyones happy happy now! AG always pulls through, whats funny though is when this thread started ironically I was reading it and a UPS comercial came on with their Delivery Garantee, LOL. That had me going for a bit.

I wonder if autogeek has checked out fed ex?Every time I get something from them it is perfect.
