I am not against guns, we should always have the right to bear arms. I am pro 2nd amendment.
I just would't trust myself with one. Lol
How many guns do you own?
The first rule in responsible gun ownership, and ESPECIALLY daily carry, is you never use a weapon (of any kind) to back some idiot down. I started carrying in the 70's, when I was 18, then a few years later, in my late 20's I had a co-worker tell me the way he learned it. (He was an Army brat, growing up with his Dad moving all over the world from base to base.) What his Father had always said, "If it clears the leather, PULL THE TRIGGER!"
When you think about it, that sums up the entire situation. Carrying (daily carry) as a way of life means you are prepared to make a decision that is life changing in the blink of an eye. Some idiot gets pushy waiting in line, not the time. Another idiot cuts you off in traffic, not the time. Some clown starts cursing you and saying how he's gonna' whip your arse, still not the time.
The ONLY time is when the other persons actions stand to change your life, and in such a way that from that moment on all courses of action are irreversible. Waving a weapon at someone to 'back them down' only gets you out of that situation, (or not) but you never know when that same person might put you in that situation again? The solution is to change the course of action, then and there, in a manner that assures you NEVER have to look over your shoulder for that nutbag, for the rest-of-your-life.
Rule number one about gun ownership. Never admit how many you own
So I'll just say, more than enough to have one in each of ALL our hands at once, with an extra always handy as well (and there are 4 of us living here).

Here's one of 2 configurations on this one piston driven M4.
