I just don't get it????

Since the beginning of the internet nobody used their real names on anything so I guess that just carried forward to forums and everything else until MySpace and Facebook came along as those were supposed to be for friends and families.

A few years ago PBMG purchased the Autopia forum. There's a few things that make that forum different than this forum. I joined Autopia.org in 2002 but don't really post there any longer.


I should write a coffee table book on Car Wax History, of course this would include a chapter on the history of the blogosphere and things like forum history. I know most of it, some of it very ugly.

Well................I used to have one person at each corner of the car watching it for runaway or misplaced buggies. Now I just have my groceries delivered. Problem solved.

However, if a case of cabin fever sets in, I will run to the store and park in "said spot". :cool:
 
It's just a way for people to be creative.
I personally never use my real name.

It's also fun to see people think I'm a guy too (although DetailKITTY as a guy's name?) :dunno:
 
Could imagine if 250 people here were named Bill Smith?,I think sort of helps ,mine would be ok,mot a ton of Ruzicka's around except in Chicago or Czechoslovakia.

Farmallluvr is for my other hobby which is farming and my tractor is a 1946 Farmall H

That’s exactly how my name was 1st born. I got Xbox Live way back in 2002, and when it came time to choose a Gamertag my 1st choice was Eldorado, but apparently someone else had already taken it so it just became Eldorado2k and it’s stuck ever since. I’ve owned 4 Cadillac Eldorados so that’s how that came to be.
 
I read a number of online forums such as this one and post occasionally so I don't mind using my name. No Facebook or other social platforms. Who cares what my opinion on trim sealant is? (I like the Wolfgang stuff)
