I would like some comments on the pic please!!!

It looks like a poor boy's picture who just spent all his money on detailing supplies at AG.

And don't you KNOW it!!!

That's a very sharp/clear picture :applause:
Now this is from your new camera right?????

I think that cameras like computers are much better than most of the people using them.
You have to spend some time figuring out the best/fastest way to use them.

Thanks! Yes, this is with the new camera with the stock lens. I'm already looking at other lenses but those things are more expensive than the camera itself!!!

I have a Sigma 28-200MMM X2 (Kids) and a Sigma 170-500MM for around 10 years and for the price they are great.

I used a 35-350MM Canon EF lens at a CART race in Toronto.
Canon Canada would let you borrow them for one day at a time.
The Rep saved it for me on race day and other than the $3500 price tag the pictures were "Kicked Up a Notch or Three" for sure

Congrats on the camera! You can't go wrong with any of the DLSR's available today.

Yes, a good lens will set you back 2x-5x the cost of the body, but there are some inexpensive lenses available too.

Great picture also. I'd recommend playing with the white balance though. You can set it manually or shoot your pictures in RAW and adjust it with software.

Here is your image with the white balance adjusted

Have fun!!

That looks 100x better. WB was def off in that picture, too much orange.

Man, that does look a ton better! I got some software with the camera that I definitely need to start using.

There should be a RAW conversion software with the bundle, if so it will let you adjust your exposure, WB, color, etc before editing it with software...

CS or CS2 will convert them and I think Adobe Elements converts RAW files too.

Sweet camera and nice deal too! :applause:

CS2 will convert them! However you will need to download the update/extension for CS2 to be able to edit the RAW files!
