These companies see me and plenty others alike coming from a mile away. Why did I buy that? Yes I bought a certain glass cleaner because it was on sale, did I need it heck no. Now I have 4 different cleaners and 1 is no better than the other. I've found more important to proper glass cleaning are CLEAN towels and technique.

Years ago, I was what many would refer to as a "product wh0re." My biggest issue was deciding what to use and it slowed me down. I have since really cut down on what I keep and use instead of tying up money. I literally only have 6 different pads, 4-5 different paint correction fluids, etc. In the words of the great Mike P...."Find what you like and use it often."
 
Personally I blame the all you forum members. Every time you guys post pictures and your success stories on different products I tell myself "I gotta try that" and I end up ordering it.
 
I'm the same way.

Started to list my products on a spreadsheet by catagory.

Oh boy have a lot of duplication.

So for now will use up what I have and get back into new stuff come Spring.

Years ago I use to be good for 3 to 500 a month.
 
Hey you have to buy products to try products. You see something new, read about it and want to try it. I spent some coin since my addiction got me, but haven't made an order since Black Friday, I know what I like, and use it often, I am still opened minded to new products, and am sure once the season hits I will be hunting again. I have bought products, used once, really liked it, but found something else I loved. Give it to a friend/family member that you think will use and appreciate it.
 
This is one of the reason why I went to coatings, whatever it is is just whatever line of products the coating manufacturer makes. I test it to make sure it's good then I keep using it. With the exception of menzerna rocks in a bottle, I pretty much only use products from the major costing manufacturers and I find a good product for a category that they don't make. I find I can only really do that or I'd spend my gas and insurance money on these products.
 
I have same problem...... With polishers. And I'm not a pro. I just like cool,quality machines.
