I just have to share - my first official detail supply order

So today I received my first official order of detail supplies. I ordered the Griots Garage MF towels. My thought was to try these out before I order more, but based on general reviews of GG merchandise, I expect these to perform very well.

The best thing is, I have another package arriving tomorrow(the GG6 and polish) and on Friday is the 5" backing plate, pads and other items.

I'm sure this is just the first of many orders.

That is the problem with this forum/AG:) There is probably a direct correlation between number of posts and $'s spent
 
looks like you are off to a fantastic start and btw.. you're going to love the GG6! you couldn't of picked two better companies (both AG & GG) to buy product(s) from... :)

Yes... After receiving only 2 orders I understand now. I should probably start apologizing now to my wife. Hopefully a clean car will calm things.

I usually get the "Really?? Another truck cleaner product?!?"

But, when I do up her Jeep, she's happy. ;)
 
I ordered the GG6 and did my very first detail with it the other day. Even though I have nothing to compare the buffer to, I love it!
 
... And today the 3rd order arrived. I think I am good to get started. The forecast is the low 100's the next few days so I think I will have to get after it before it gets crazy hot around here.

I ordered this package and it was back ordered for a week and I think AGO must have compensated by throwing in a bunch of extra stuff I didn't order which was awesome. Thanks AGO.

Also a question for fellow auto geekers that live in the heat(as in Arizona heat); should I be concerned about keeping any of my products in the garage? It will get over 110 easily here in the next few weeks.

Very nice order!! Every time you detail there will be something else you can't live without so be prepared.

As far as moving products indoors this time of year I would say yes. Live in Vegas so temps are similar, move everything in early June and back out to the garage in September. Wish I had a swamp cooler for the garage but without one it gets darn hot and some products just don't like temperature fluctuations.

Thanks for the heads up.

I take that as I now need a detail bag to make moving the product in and out of the garage easier. :-)
