This is rediculious. Been raining here since Friday. I like watching the beading & sheeting on our vehicles as much as the rest of the geeks but at some point it needs to stop. If this doesn't relieve all or most of the drought in the state,it will be close. Stir crazy from sitting around watching rain fall. I feel the need to go touch my paint!

I grew up and still live near dense farmland, people used to give me all sorts of flak for smack talking the rain so much and wishing for droughts. I got my drought a few years back, my car would go a couple weeks in between washes, it was great.... I absolutely loved how the brown grass reflected off of my spotless white Golf.

It's either rain or pollen

It's not much better up here... I swear it rains every other day.

We're not getting that much rain, they put us on phase III water restrictions yesterday. One day a week lawn watering and one day a week car washing, which for me would be on Tuesday, so I can't wash my cars on the weekends. No pressure washing etc. We've got along way to go to make up for 12" deficit of rain for the year.

I for one cant take the rain as well, It really affects professional detailers, Mobile and shop.

Be thankful. It's rained here about 20 of the last 30 days, but it's in the mid-50's. :(

Don't know where you live, but looks like you are a candidate for rinseless wash. I don't have water restrictions in Colorado Springs, but ONR rinseless is my go to 95% of the time for our two Outbacks.

Rained here for 3 month straight last year, Had cow's and sheep washed out to sea.

Thats when it's BAD

I feel bed for all you pros affected by this. Sucks to depend on the weather for good working conditions. I took a week off to fish and haven't gone yet. The fish are wet anyway but homie don't do lightning,or fish in it. I broke out the rod wrapping table for first time in years, that's how bored this weather has made me.

Interestingly, while the rain can be a downer, and it does get old, and I do love watching and seeing the water bead on my car, I feel like I am being given a pass for keeping my car clean. I can let it go, as I have a valid excuse!
