I learned some valuable detailing knowledge on a YT video - YMMV.

I was thinking about this topic as I was applying my recently purchased jar of Fuzion wax to my wife's car yesterday. She doesn't ask how much these things cost and I don't volunteer the information.

If it ever comes up, I need only to remind her how much see enjoys her shiny car. She knows the time I spend detailing our cars and she can see the results.
