i might order the snow foam from the uk!!!

I used DP extreme in my foam lance last week and it looked just like the pictures you see from the snow foam stuff.

I think I know which foam you are taking about...but what's wrong with DP Xtreme foam? I really doubt that snow foam will give you better results with a foam gun. You know that they used foam cannon in a picture...you will get the same results with DP Xtreme foam with foam cannon...

my daugther has this body wash gel called 'grins and giggles' this stuff sudds like crazy!!! and smells like a baby:D i wonder how it is in my foam gun. thats it im out of controlIm the MAN

i heard the the snow foam really works with the foam lance sprayer .which id love to have also but for me to drag our the power washer extention cord and hose is a little of a pain in the butt for me. so id rather use my foam gun the connects to the hose its alot faster .

i emailed autobrite a company form uk and they havnt gotten back to me
im interested in the snow foam. but with the exchange rate and international shipping charges it might be very exspensive to ship here. id like to know what it would cost to ship a 5 liter pail of that. also theres another member on this site thats going to send me a sample to see if i like it too.

A question for the foam lance users- when you apply the 2" lather of foam to the car do you still use a 2 bucket method to wash after that or just go at it with a mitt?

And the foam gun users- Do you foam a panel, wash, rinse or use a different technique?

Suds have nothing to do how well a soap performs as a wash. The lubricity in a soap is what lifts the dirt to move it away from the paint. The more lubricity, the better. Suds and foam is just a misconception that you have a nice wash when infact you may have no lubricity and are possibly harming the paint. Anthony, what would your explaination be?

I am not Anthony but you said it well. I do use a foam gun as a pre-soak and I then rinse it off and use the two bucket method. But I agree that the foam and suds have nothing to do with the lubricity. Look at 4-in-1 and ONR no suds/foam at all. I just think the foam does look cool and it can/could be a good way (if needed) for someone that has a detailing business to attract attention while at work. It does seem that foam does allow products to dwell longer but that is mostly just needed on lower panels, front end, and rear where most of the grime accumulates.:autowash: See no foam works too! lol

if we didnt have bad winters i wouldnt car so much about the foam but when my truck is caked with salt from top to bottom i think that spraying it with the foam letting it drell for 5 minutes then washing with the 2 bucket method is th way to do it.

I would agree as long as you are rinsing before or after the dwell (if that is what you meant). Its also has to do with what makes you feel better. lol
 
Does foaming a vehicle and letting the soap sit for a while in any way strips your wax or sealants?
