I nearly went insane working with this Porsche paint

Let us know how you like PO85RD on the Crimson pad. PO85RD will be my next purchase

I'll be sure to include any comments I have whenever I get around to using it for the first pad, though I imagine the PO85RD+Crimson won't be necessary for most vehicles.

I've never really commented on peoples' show n' shine threads....But your hard work did this car justice! Great job! It looks amazing, even though I'm usually not a fan of murdered out cars. I hope you don't mind me saving the after pictures. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for commenting! I appreciate it! If you'd like larger images, you can check out my flickr page (link in my signature). Simply view an image, right click on it and select a larger size. All I ask is that you leave the watermark on the image for copyright reasons. Thanks!!

It may have been a chore, but you ended up with a perfect result.

I have never done a black Porsche "I lack intestinal fortitude" but I have done a Pearl White one. And my final solution to the soft clear was my gold pad and Menzerna PO85rd. I used a rotary on dead slow. It gave me a satisfactory jeweling final step before waxing.

Oh definitely. As Mike Phillips always says, "Give credit where credit is due." I'll check out your Flickr. Thanks again! :dblthumb2:

Alright, this would probably be the only black car I would ever want to own. That paint is incredible!

Thanks! This car was awesome!

Porsche car paint is absolutely the softest factory paint I have ever worked on! Nice job!
Yeah - I'll be OK if I don't have to do another black Porsche anytime soon :xyxthumbs:

Nice work man! Very Impressive! :dblthumb2:
Thank you!

My first paint correction was on my black Porsche.... took me two days and boy did the car pop...to the point folks make comments to me at stop lights.

I was tired when done.... and Fuzion....on man...did that stuff look nice.

Great job on the car...!

^People definitely take notice of a proper looking car. They may not know exactly what makes that car look so different than that other black Porsche they saw a few miles before (for those poor non detail savvy folks), but it's always a compliment when people stop and stare!

Thanks for the support! Just replied to your PM!

I am sad to report that this vehicle was recently damaged by an act of random stupidity. Yesterday someone decided they would key it, and they caused an extreme amount of damage. The scratch, which started on the front fender and went all the way down the door, was through the paint and down to bare metal in some places. It is very upsetting to me that some people will stoop so low as to cause harm to such a beautiful car for no apparent reason. While it is unlikely that the culprit will ever be found, I hope that whoever did it will eventually be held accountable for their actions!
