I Need A Good Thought From All You AG's Out There!

I will pray for you.

It's great to see people sincerely concerned for one another. Especially since a lot of us don't know each other. Other then what's on the screen in front of us.

Thank-you all for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes. I appreciate it and like I said, hope that it's all just nothing worry about when all is done. Just hearing you're in my corner makes things seem better. And, I can't thank you enough for responding to just "somebody" who you know from the forum.

Now, if it just wasn't snowing so I could use all of this excellent Autogeek stuff I've accumulated. Just used a small portion of what I have and it now all sits inside, keeping warm until spring rolls around.

Thanks again so much for responding. Hope you all have a good holiday!

Best Regards,

Bob

Bob .... you will be in my thoughts and prayers this holiday season and going forward. I am sure I am not alone when I offer that you can lean on this forum and the great members and we truly wish a speedy recovery soon.

We often allow our minds to think the worst and its more a matter of not knowing. But even if its not the best of news, take it one step at a time and we will be there with you throughout your journey. Better days are fast coming.

a prayer said, and i hope all is well with you.
sorry to hear your having a hard time. it sucks and you feel like your never gonna get through it, but there will be a better time. hang in there.

Will say a prayer for you tonight at midnight mass.

Get well and have a very merry christmas!!!

Thank-you all again for your wishes and prayers. I too hope this is just a blip on the path to being myself again and amounts to just nothing. I repeat to myself, it is just nothing, I am healthy and am free of all disease. I have come up the curve and feel a lot like my old self before all this happened a yr. and a half ago. I look like it too! :D Scott, Mike, Meghan from AG, thanks for joining........and for the last poster above, "Matt from New Zealand", thanks for sending me your good thoughts from so many time zones away. Nothing like having the Southern Hemisphere in there pitching, as well. :)

Again, to all of you, happy holidays and thanks so much. It means a lot and helps with the terrible anxiety that comes along with this. So hard to deal with, it's almost "pavlovian" in the way it works with the circumstances, sensations, events, et.al.

Take care guys. Love to hear from you and also, the interesting things we discuss relative to car care, products, processes and just "stuff" in general.

See ya

I wish you & your Family all the best this Holiday season.

Matt from New Zealand", thanks for sending me your good thoughts from so many time zones away. Nothing like having the Southern Hemisphere in there pitching, as well. :)

No Problem, and you probably got the first Christmas prayer too as I was at midnight mass not very long ago and said a prayer for you.

Merry Christmas guys

Thank-you Matt and Merry Christmas to you, as well, since you are so far ahead of us, time wise.

And, thanks again to you all. I hope & pray that all will turn out to be alright!

Merry Christmas to all of you who have replied, I really appreciate it. Hope all of you are well this season and that the Autogeek presents fill the space under all of your trees. The question will be, who uses their new products first on Christmas Day (of course, all of you South Easterners & Westerners have quite an advantage over us who are stuff in the frozen tundra!!! :D

Take care and thanks again. Keep those thoughts coming.

Best Regards,

Bob

Bob,
My prayers are with you. I will not sit hear and try to say I know what you are going through because I dont. The only thing I can do is share the only Absolute I know. That Absolute is Jesus Christ and his word. You mentioned that you have alot of fear, anxiety, and worry.

Matthew 6:
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:27&34 are my favorites. I always refer to them when ever I have a worry. It is hard but if you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ then you have nothing to worry about my friend. God will never give you anything you can not handle, and he will never leave your side. Though you may feel afraid take comfort in him and his love. He also uses everything for a reason. I wont say you will know what that reason is but rest assured that whatever you are going through will end up in something good in some form or another.
Look for my PM
Jesus loves you,
Jon

PS - hey, speaking of KY.........I used to live in Cincinnati years ago when I worked for P&G. Do you reside anywhere near the OH/KY border? Used to hate the traffic convergence at the bridges crossing the Ohio River on the way to CVG airport. But, that's "is" a long time ago. Have a lot of memories from my few yrs. there.

Yes, unfortunately, it does........it will for a while. But, time fixes it......I know, an old cliche', but true. Just a blip on the 401. Speaking of GF's, I was very serious about someone a long time ago from Quebec City. Worked out just about like your experience. Maybe there's something in the Quebec water supply, eh?? :) Who knows. (BTW, I liked QC City a lot.....what a beautiful place, as is Montreal). Just a shame that no NHL hockey is still up there.

Thanks for the thoughts & wishes from above the border. I hope and pray it's nothing to worry about and all will be well in 2010.

See ya.

Good luck to you, I hope everything will be fine.

For me, for the second year in a row...December isn't a good month for me. Last sunday my gf ( now ex ) and we broke up. So now she's moving her things from my place. Christmas won't be like I thought it will be.

It's nothing like you, but it sucks.

Thanks for the well wishes and good thoughts. You guys don't know how much it means to me.

Love the Lambo and the "color". Bright Yellow is the way to go...............I know there are many black, silver, blue, etc. car fans out there.....but, for my tastes, there are only two automobile colors..............RED and YELLOW. If it goes....it might as well look like it goes! :D

Happy Holidays and thanks again.

See ya.

Thanks you Ryan. My next test is next Thursday. Such anxiety. Appreciate your good thoughts and back at you.

I have a place in the Tampa Bay area.......you're weather is better than ours, for sure. I should be over there!! :) Makes car care a bit easier......especially when the temps. are above the "teens"!!!!

Thx. again.

Update: Jan. 11, 2010 - I Need A Good Thought From All You AG's Out There!

All,

The best of holidays to you all and your families. I hope your immense appetite for detailing products doesn't upset the financial apple cart this season and that you all get what you want under the tree. I know many of you guys just bought them for yourselves anyway!!).

We all have had bad things occur to us and I'm sure I am not alone in this category around the holidays. That's how I happened upon AG and all this stuff about auto care.

I have been going through some very serious medical issues the past year and a half, all causing huge amounts of anxiety, fear and of course the physical side effects & aspects associated w/recovery. Not to bleed all over the keyboard, but my situation included major (like, really major) abdominal surgery, post-operative radiation/chemo treatments and then scans & tests every 2-3 mos. After these past 18 mos., I've come up the curve and begun to feel like "myself" again. Have had a yr. of really great test results. My latest scan the other day showed a little "something" different and I need to have another test where they look closer at it endoscopically and take a sample to test.....so, back on the anxiety/dread/fear merry-go-round again. It scares me so and I pray that I will be OK so I can just "be" and live a long, happy life in peace. It seems so difficult and debilitating and I know some of you can relate to this. If you can find it in yourself, have a good thought or say a prayer that all will be OK with me in this trying time and this is just something that amounts to just nothing.

Update: Jan. 11, 2010 - After juggling schedules & ensuring that I have someone with me for the test (especially to get me home after anesthesia :p) it's now scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 12th. Thanks again to all who have sent their best & prayers to me. Set the good thought-GPS for zip 14642 next week and keep them beaming in that direction. Thanks an awful lot guys. It means a lot for you to care.

Hope all of you have a great holiday and enjoy all those AG products, too.............just watch out for all the tempting new introductions, sales and BOGO's.
