I don't want to have to purchase a few different kinds to find one that will give a deep black matte finish. Any recommendations?

I use g6 hyper coat for all my tire shine needs. Nice matte shine with not a lot of gloss.

Swissvax Pneu. I looks naturally black, non shiny and non greasy looks and is long lasting

Stoners "more shine"- makes tires look like they did when installed, matte and clean...love the stuff -also poorboys "natural look"

Thanks for the quick responses. You guys are great.

+1 for 303, also the cheapo "no touch" brand tire shine gives a nice matte finish if you ignore the directions and actually wipe away the excess.

I use DG 251 tire and rubber dressing. Leaves the tire with absolutely no shine, and it last a very long time. Water beads on my tires months after application.

Sounds like a winner, thanks.

The only TRUE matte tire dressing I've used is Dodo Juice Tyromania.

Yep, and if your sidewalls are not smooth (i.e. are ribbed), it's also a royal pain in the rear to get on evenly as well. That's the one thing I don't like about it.

Opti-Bond Tire Gel.

I agree with Ron.

Optimum Opti-Bond gives the most non shinny look of any tire dressing I've tried. Another that would fit here is Ultima tire & Trim Guard..

I'm currently using the Black Fire total eclipse tire gel, leaves the tires with a nice, natrual lookin' sheen and since applying 2 or 3 initial build up coats, it doesn't shine, just matte black and doesn't wear off in the rain, great stuff! I've also used Griot's all weather tire dressing with similar results:dblthumb2:

+3 For Opti Bond. You can mix if half and half with water for a pretty matte look. Makes tires look expensive. I tried the Blackfire stuff. It was the worse dressing I've ever used. I mean terrible IMHO. I just would not spread out on the tire. I was actually unusable to me. I switched to something else halfway through.
Maybe I got a bad same.

Was it total eclipse tire gel? If so and you don't like, send it my way, I'll pay for the shipping:props:
