I need opinions...

I’ve done some pretty ridiculous things to get rid of/avoid branding, lol.

I bought an American Giant hoodie like 3 years ago and the only visible branding was a hem tag, so I took a seam ripper and carefully removed it.

Prior to my weightlifting days I used to buy raw denim jeans from The Unbranded. Literally made for people like me, lol. I’d resort to eBay or custom button down manufacturers you can use online to get button downs without any branding.

It’s probably my biggest pet peeve with clothes. If you make nice stuff you don’t need to make it ugly by plastering your logo all over it.

Gee I wear nothing but Polo Ralph Lauren and that has the polo player logo on it. I don’t give it a second thought. The clothes are high quality and that’s what I’m paying for. When it comes to cars however, I removed the “ Accord” badge the day I got it. I also despise dealer decals and dealer license plate frames. I got rid of those pronto too.

I have about 20 Ralph Lauren Polo shirts and I debadged all the horses.

I have enough shirts and hats to try that ...he he...

My brother, I knew one day I would find another soul as crazy as I am .

You must really hate those ghastly Polo shirts that have the huge Polo logos. Those were too much for me so I never bought them. I guess I have my limit for logos after all.

I’m definitely not a fan of them at all.

It’s funny because I’ll willingly wear a shirt with a logo for something I choose to want on me, I just can’t stand when it’s just like.. a basic company logo. North face is probably the worst offender for this that comes to mind.

I just think it’s unnecessary. To me, people will buy a product if it’s good. I’ll even go so far as to pay more for something that’s marketed less, but that’s just one of my quirks. I get a lot of pushback from my gf because “it makes it hard to buy clothes for me” lol

There are brands out there without logos and of course you can always go completely custom. I bet since everything is made in China these days you could even get custom shirts for a similar price as national brands

I’ve only worn 1 pair of Nikes in my life. They were some Nike Cortez that were bought for me by my cousins while I was staying with them for a week when I was like 11yrs. old... But other than that mishap I’ll never wear anything Nike ever in my life. I hate Nike and feel like only tools & sheep wear that brand.

I’m strictly Fila. As far as sneakers I’ve only worn Filas for the past 27yrs.

I’m wearing a pair of Filas tomorrow to go walking. Nice thing is you can get that brand inexpensively at Ross.

I was hoping to get a pair of Bills Khakis made in Pennsylvania but I couldn’t find any not made overseas. :-( it looks like it’s a real challenge to find anything made here any more, at least consistently

These days I buy them on the bay... I can find all the styles they make and even the “expensive” ones are only a fraction of the price that Nike rips people off for.

These here are even worse than Nikes... Seriously how stupid does a person have to be to purchase these?
