Well, I did ask a couple of questions about his wash technique and one of her child volunteered that he saw him use shop rags and old tee shirts, 1 bucket and washed from top-down-top, inside the fenders back to the paint etc...

Yep.... that would do it! One $25 wash (freebie paid by her mom) will cost her $550 :nomore:

*shudder*.... I think i should show this thread to my family, let them know why I wash the cars the way I do and what can happen if you rush or are lazy or etc, etc, etc...

Uggggggg! Painful! Haha the kid ratted her out! Yup. I have seen that wash technique before, very easy to master. Ha

Hate to hear that and I feel our pain.

I spent an entire day cleaning up my neighbors cars, polishing and waxing, etc. getting the paint near perfect, only to have them stop at one of the side of the road car washes raising money.

She told me that her car needed to be polished again to get the scratches out from that wash. Its job security, but no less is painful to have to repair something you already fixed.
