Agree, I actually had a client the other day ask me if I was getting one but I'm not. Its more of a phone for somebody into mulitmedia I have a Cingular 8525 that blows away the other windows/pda type phones, powerful, and so many adaptions for programs, and keyboard rocks.killrwheels@autogeek said:600.00 and they say even the modest user will need to upgrade to the tune of 1000.00 or more additional funds to truly use the phone as designed. Wait till a truck full gets stolen and sold on Ebay unlocked for peanuts.

Yeh thats what sucks about Bluetooth, on my phone though (Cingular 8525) there are options to play with the incomming/outgoing tones and volume instead of just increasing/decreasing the volume directly on the bluetooth, finally got a setting that people can hear me clearly on....now the problem is it seems to pick up every noise around me, my biz partner can be across the office and the person on the phone can hear him talking.shadybreal said:I totally agree. I use a razor and it's about to die after being held against a sweaty face 8 hours a day. I can't find a blue tooth that works well either. They all make me sound like I'm in a tunnel. Any suggestions? I've tried moto 500, 700, and a samsung.

Think the 8125 is the old versin of my 8525, these phones rock for business/personal use:righton:ryandamartini said:my mom got one.
however i do not like that they do not have 3g network ability, only gsm. my cingular 8125 pocket pc phone has that....
wait till next gen when you cam get 3g abi;ity and probably some hardware updates. it looks nice but there are some downs on the phone.
plus no one has figured out how to mod them so you can actually use additional programs. so give the hackers a few months then get one![]()

I check into Nokia, whatever Bluetooth I bought I remember was like 130 or something and was expecting it to be a lot better then people telling me it sounded like I was underwater.
Yeh I love it, wasn't cheap but well worth it. I swtiched from Treos, to BB's, to BJ and kept comming back to the 8525. Built solid as hell to, I've dropped it quite a few times by accident. And yeh google maps saved me once when I was meeting a client for a Commercial project and couldn't find his warehouse, some of the signs were down from construction, Google Maps saved me lol, I was only 5 minutes late haha.ryandamartini said:yep its the previous gen, has a slower cpu, but i overclocked minemy nokia headset sounds crisp and clear with my phone. good luck
