I-Phone.. Did anyone get one at launch?

Since our home has always been on the bleding edge of the technology I went to the store and ordered one. Hopefully it will be in the mail soon but I am not holding out for it this week.

I think it was to expensive but I had the money and wanted it so ..... what could I do but....BUY one!!
 
I'd wait for the iphone to be tweaked out and everything. There was a long line down at the Otay Mall in Chula Vista, and it was pointless because people who came in later in the night that didn't wait in line were able to buy one :p. People camped out, kraziness.
 
One of my clients gave me one as a gift a week before it was released. I have VERIZON!!! So i gave it to my neice and so far she loves it!

WOW what...lol I can't believe you were given an iphone as a gift :p I wish I had one given as a gift.

I got to "touchy feely" and was not a good experience at all. Why??? Because now I WANT ONE!!! It was pretty awesome, as easy as the commercials, scrolling by finger, turn it on the side and voila, portrait to landscape/wisescreen instantly!

And, if anyone is wondering, yes, you can buy it without a plan from the Apple store. You have to go to an AT&T store or call and activate it yourself. If you're not lucky enough to get one at an apple store, you can order online with a wait of 4 weeks. If you go to an AT&T store and have them order you one online, you get expedited shipping, 2 weeks.

Just great, I need $400 in details to pay off the Festool, now I need to work on another $500 (at least) to pay for an iPhone! :(
