Hey guys, I was doing a detail on my car (wash/clay/compound/polish/wax) except I only managed to get to the polishing stage on 2 panels of the car. I didn't have time to wax the panel's after polishing for other reasons. Today it's raining and I have to drive the car. Those panels have no wax protection. Is it okay for them to get rained on? Then wax them later when dry? What should I wipe it off with? Distilled water? Then wax? Or any other ideas. Thanks!!

You car is not going to rust and fall apart if you can't get it waxed for a couple days.

What product are you going to use on the car?

I'd wash it again with a soap that doesn't leave any gloss enhancers or waxes behind and be VERY careful how it's dried. Once done, if using a product like Collinite 845 that isn't very finicky, I'd simply apply it to the car.

I'm planning to put megs ultimate wax on it. And probably blow dry it with my vacuum

its find just try to get to it as soon as possible.. just clay wash and light polish before you wax...
