Just washed my car yesterday and my car is filthy and green and there's some condensation on the car and all sorts of drying streaks! My OCD is kickin' real hard, lol. I'm gonna hose her down in the morning and then use detail spray and a microfiber. Ah, hell, I really don't wanna have to foam the car, but she'll probably need a proper wash.

Pollen? It's February...where do you live??

Florida... where our winter months are just muggy and rainy with burst of cool weather. I love the cool weather, not enough to live up north, but I seriously love working outside in the cool weather in short sleeves and shorts, lol.

Try Tennessee when the pines are throwing pollen, your entire car will be convered in yellow in less than twenty minutes.

Every time I complain... someone's got it worse! LOL!

No, you can't have all those honeys down there without a little pollen.

:-D

Upstate NY:

Winter - snow
Spring - pollen
Summer - tree sap
Fall - pine needles & leaves

Can't catch a break.

I'm gonna give my car another wash today, lol. If... big IF... it doesn't rain. However, I think some cooler weather is coming this week. Can't effin' wait. And March 20th to the 23rd, I'm on vacation and it's gonna tie in with my regular Sunday/Monday weekend... 6 days off of work. :D Lots of detailing to be done and some fishing in between, I hope.

Southwest Texas goes as follows:

Winter - ugly rainy wet weather with occassional freezing (for me anyways) wind chill

Spring - Muggy with lots of fog and lots of spring showers. Also yellow cars everywhere

Summer - brutal heat and humidity that makes for a great durability test for any LSP (but no rain whatsoever, yay!). Also love bugs that bake on quick cause of the heat.

Fall - Same as spring but with more showers :(

So overall the maximum amount of time a car can look good in Texas is prolly 2 weeks.

Then remember, once you finally get good weather, do you have time? Why does it seem that when you finally get good weather there's something else that needs to be done.

The pollen down here is bad this year, but I will take it over wind, rain, snow, salty roads and any temp below 70. Ahhhhh I love Florida.

Middle TN winters:
high 20 degrees for 3 days
warms up to 40 then rains for 2 days
drops back down to high 20s for a day or two
warms up to 50's/60's for another day or two
drops down again to 40's and rains
drops back down to 20's

wash, rinse, repeat

Anywhere 5 minutes outside of Nashville is pollen madness, one of the lushest cities I've seen and of course there's pine everywhere as well.

As a fellow Floridian I feel your pain. Really stands out on my Charcoal grey metallic Subaru

My car is silver, so it's kinda hard to tell, but I know it's there. Think I'll wash it now.
