I just got my new Griot DA. I thought it had a 25 foot cord, but it didn't. I went back to the AG web site and seen I didn't get the HD model. So if you are thinking about getting one, make sure you get the HD.
Griot's Garage 6 inch Random Orbital Polisher, Dual action buffer, DA polisher
Upgrade to the
Griot's Garage 6 Inch Random Orbital Polisher HD!
The HD model has a heavy duty 16 gauge, 25 foot power cord hardwired into the polisher. The longer cord is more convenient than an extension cord and it is gauged to deliver maximum power to the polisher for safe, efficient operation.
Select the HD model from the drop-down menu below.

Just give it to me, and order a new one. You can use killrwheels cc for the new HD one

Sparkie if you havent used it send it back we can exchange for you.

Anyone know what gauge wire is used on the Griot's polisher with the standard length cord?

Just got one with the 10' cord. It is 18 gauge, just like the PC.

Thanks for bringing this up...this is helpful to many.

A dedicated single-Plug Extension Cord is not that much of an inconvenience to use, is it ?

I find the Detailing Apron with the Shoulder Loops to be Money better spent on, than the longer Cord is.
