I taught her well

So my girlfriend was in the market for a new car. She had her eyes set on a White 2011 BMW 328i. Unfortunately I was not able to go with her yesterday to look at the car. While there she tells the car salesman "oh the car has some swirls" Salesman replies " oh no this car has no swirls". The car being white hides swirls very good. She goes on to tell him to look at the car at a angle where the sun hits the car. Of course the sun does not lie and all the swirls were visible. Salesman replies " we can have our detailer detail the car and you can pick it up tomorrow". She tells the salesman "no thanks, my boyfriend will take care of it"

She test drove the car and examined the car from a detailers point of view. She ended up buying the car. I might say the did a great job. Interior is flawless besides the drivers mat being dirty. Paint is in excellent condition besides your normal swirls from washing.
Will be polishing and sealing it up next week.

I was proud of her.

Was she able to discount the car further due to the swirls?
Ever since getting into detailing... kinda wondered if this would work.

She didnt bother asking since it was nothing major. I dont know if that would work

I highly doubt it. She hates all the hard work it takes to make a car look stunning. She leaves that part to me.

Thanks. The funny part is first she called me saying the car had scratches. I asked her swirls or scratches? I told her that if she could feel anything with her finger nail those were deep scratches. She examined the car with that method

That's a good one, my wife would to. When I showed her some holigrams, she says, Oh that's not supposed to be there and look like that?

Great job teaching her. I am in the teaching stages myself. Maybe one day I can teach her to just keep the inside of her car clean, kids don't help with that much either.

She has been learning about swirls, but she said she would be up for doing customer's car. Her interior and I exterior. She is a hard working woman, super tough and yet feminine, make up nails etc..

After reading your post it made me want to pursue getting her to do interior for me. Easy stuff to start off with, vacuum, trash etc.

Don't under estimate a women. She could of probably beat you up. Hahah.
My girl friend helps me from time to time on details. Usually with wheels and clayinh. First rule I told her was. " never drop the clay"

I have the speedy prep towel, I can show her how to use that and I can use the Nano Skin Auto Scrub, dang I'm always learning something new on here.
