I think I have caused extreme marring in my paint. How would I go about fixing this with a 7424xp? (First time DA polishing)

If your paint is that ridiculously soft, then perhaps do a final finish by hand, then coat the living hell out of your paint with a high quality coating like Cquartz. Or sell the car, and end such headaches.
 
I hope the picture below shows - but this is what my honda paint looked like when I got the car. It took a while but Cobra waffle weaves were the culprit, both dry and wet. Looks a lot like your paint and what you are seeing. Maybe your paint is just as soft as this? I have seen Nissans with ridiculously soft paints

I have since corrected the paint, and now only use purple plush towels with a drying aid. I still have faint towel marring, but the paint is extremely soft and I do not think I can help it. The dark color shows it a lot more than a lighter color would.
