I have a 2002 Black silverado. I wish I could show you guys some pictures of the damage that my truck has. It looks like water spots all over the windows and paint exept its ruff and looks etched in. I tried useing a porter cable 7424 with a orange pad and a 3m rubbing compound then wolf gang total swirl remover. It just made the paint shiny and the spots less notice able. When the sun hits it just right now i have all kinds of hologram marks and you can still see the water marks. I trieded Nu Glass from napa on my windows and it would only remove the spots if i srubbing really hard which left scratch marks on my glass. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like classic water etching, and being a2002 model. If the paint feels ruff, try claying the paint and windows. The 3M and WG TSR could leave behind some holograming. Try going over it with a white polishing pad, with otimum polish, or WG FG 3.0 to remove the holograming.
As for the windows I have found that zaino Z-12 window polish to work great.

#0000 steel wool and klasse AIO works best for water spots on glass, like the serious cases. I tried polishing mine at one time and did nothing. The steel wool you can feel grabbing at the water spot etchings, just don't use on side view mirrors or you'll scratch them.

For water spots on your windows I have used Sparkle Cleaner & Stain Remover. This stuff works GREAT. Check with a glass store to purchase. It will take some elbow grease but it is worth all the work. Good luck!

yeah, i find out its all about the elbow grease, most water spots will come right off with the right amount of applied pressure

Yeah I used the NU glass polish and it will take the spots off. The only problem is that it left small scratches that you can see when the sun hits it just right. Thats the only reason I stoped using it.

Here is the best picture i could get of it. Where it's bright is how it looks on the paint and all over the windows with the sun hits it.
