and it came out great:

Just kidding, but I actually did use it on the glass because touchless methods are pretty ineffective on glass.

Also, even though the picture isn't the greatest, this is why I love coatings so much. I go to the coin-op, spray my wheels with Mother's Wheel and Tire cleaner, then spray the car with the pre-soak option, then the high pressure soap option, high pressure rinse, spot free rinse, and then blow dry to remove most of the water, especially out of the honey comb grille and rear valance, side mirrors, etc.

Now I have a 90%+ clean car which works for me considering I haven't been able to give it a proper wash in nearly 2 months.

Paint and trim has Cquartz, windshield has GTechniq G1, all other glass has Adam's Quick Sealant, and tires have Turtle Wax Jet Black Endura Shine Tire Coat. All of them show no signs of degradation despite minimal washing and exposure to the touchless wash detergents which tend to be harsh.

Is that a picture of your car banging it's head against the wall because you used the coin-op brush?

I've found with coatings our MB washes and dries incredibly fast and the shine looks as good today as when I last coated it.

Dirt including bird bombs fly off at the Coin-op wash...

What do you use to blow dry at the coin op? Or do you take it home and use a leaf blower/master blaster?

My coin-op has a blow dryer. Pretty much a master blaster that costs $.67 a minute.

Depending on the "state of the brush":
Scratches in glass are often a bugbear to remove.

Bob

Yes, but I always at least pressure wash the brush out first and I don't scrub the glass, just gently glide it across. So far so good.

That's good news! :xyxthumbs:

Just a thought:
If used similarly (no scrubbing/gently glide across surfaces)...Then, in a pinch:
The coin-op's pressured-washed brush could possibly
be clean enough to be used all over the vehicle.

Possibly, but I'd rather not take that chance. It also varies based on the coin-op. The brush at mine appears to be boar's hair or similar, but other coin-ops have stiffer brushes.
