I Want the $25 Job

Not because of the money, but her service to the community. It takes a very dedicated person to teach for that long.

This ^

This women is a very special person. She's taught not only hi school students, but also a Sunday School class for over 35 years. After she retired from teaching, she only got busier. On Monday nights she mentors women at a abused women shelter, Wenesday night is church, Thursday nights; she visits the womens prison. Fridays are spent preparing Sundays lesson, and Sundays are Church (morning and evening) I feel so inadequate sometimes just seeing everything she does and how little I do

What made me start this thread was that I had it all planned out yesterday afternoon to do a quick one step and a deep interior clean on my car. No sooner then I get started cleaning my wheels, she approaches me asking if I could clean her car because she was taking some ladies to a Christmas party Saturday. I'm just like thinking to myself, NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!, but my insides said, sure, I can do that. Thats when she said "I'll take the $25 job" lol

My car remains a rolling trash can. Ppl always make fun of me by how crappy my car looks

:help:

imo older people should deserve a discount, if it was my neighbour i would have done more then what you did for 25$ not because im after the money, because she possibly has more friends who will see it and get more business, but im not a money grubber like some people, especially for a senior neighbor, remember who will have your back if something goes wrong? who will have your back if you go on a vacation? it will probably be the neighbor so that is why i don't charge much for senior neighbors but that's just me....we all need more money but doing a good job for a really cheap price sometimes does way more then any money will do for you, and i will leave it at that....

p.s im not coming off as rude im just expressing my opinion that doing good for older people is something that makes me feel good..
