Here is my review of the 3M bucket I won from the great folks here at Autogeek. Thanks again Nick and AG family!
On to the review:
Here is the box as I am opening it!

I used this bucket as a wheel bucket this weekend while cleaning a client’s F250. How many Autogeek.net products do you see in this picture?!

Pros:
The look of the bucket (red is awesome!)
The rubbery texture of the bucket. It seems slightly flimsy and flexible, but I think it would be more so protected from cracking if dropped.
I really like the little shelf that hangs on the inside of the bucket. It was ideal for putting brushes in when not in use. I always hate trying to fish around for my boar’s hair brush when working on wheels. So this really came in handy.

Cons:
The bucket seems too small! I would guess it is a 3 gallon bucket. Once soap is added and suds form, you only have 2 gallons of water to work with.
The little tray/shelf sits 2 inches or so into the bucket thus limiting the amount of water you can fill the bucket up with as well.

I just went out to the garage to see if the little tray will fit on my 5 gallon buckets and it does, loosely. It just doesn’t clip on as it does on the 3M bucket. But I think I can make use of the tray though. No more fishing for my brushes!

I think 3M should keep this design, but just make it into a 5 gallon bucket which can hold a grit guard as well.

Thanks for reading and thanks again Autogeek!

now that would make sense. i dont wetsand(yet) so i tested it as a wheel bucket.

Kinds tough to have Cons when you aren't using for it's intended use!
Looks like a nice wet sanding bucket tho!

i never saw or read it was a wetsand bucket, but it makes sense.

u want me to send it to u and u can do a wetsand usage review?
