So yeah I broke 2 ice scrapers trying to de-ice my car this morning!!!...We got 3/4 inch of ice and the school I work for is still open! Good grief Charlie Brown...:nomore:

I think you need to work from home! :props:

Snowing like hell here.....

The Ice Master Multi-Blade Ice Scraper is the one you need,..

Wonder if Pan spay would work, keeps the bugs off,.put some old carpet pieces over it if you have no garage.

Last week I was at Marco Island what a change...

I'm in St Louis and for the first time ever we have a Blizzard Warning. They are calling for up to 15 inches here and 2 feet just a bit north west of us. Sleeting hard now. Just went out and scraped off the truck and put plastic grocery bags and rubber bands around my mirrors.

Memphis checking in @ 62 degrees w/tornado wanings. Tommorow the high will be 32 :(

I'm just across the river from St Louis and it is nasty right now. Wife went to work at 4:30 and the roads were almost dry here then. This crap has moved in fast. I don't know how the main roads are, but from my house to the neighborhood exit is by all practical purposed, impassable. Hope she can get home. If we don't get some snow down, I wont even be able to go get her if necessary.

I'm here Bella Vista, Ar and we got ice/sleet earlier now it is snowing HARD. supposed to get 4-8" before it ends.

Just north of Indianapolis!

Denver here.

Not much snow, maybe an inch but cold; metro area is -3F to -9F air temp. It's -3F on my front porch right now but the sun is out!

Earlier this morning the wind chill was -29F.

Forecast for tonight: -18F to -22F

Regards,
GEWB

I would take a bunch of snow over this ice. Hopefully the next round doesnt move in to fast, from the indiana homeland security site they are slowly issuing warnings, I hope marion county doesnt turn red or I am stuck here :(

That's awesome!

I remember doing that as a kid a few times coming back from the out door rink! (small town)

Bet they need a good sharpening now though. ;)

Yeah, they are telling us 1 to 2 feet here...again. I'm tired of it, brutal this year.

Yikes, they are saying we may have 1/2" of ice here by middle of tomorrow...last time we had something like this about 15 years ago a whole bunch of trees and utility poles came down and it was all messed up with power outages and streets closed for days...great! I remember trying to get home from work and whichever way you turned there was either a tree or pole in the road or it was all jammed up with crashed cars and/or impassable ice conditions.

Ha that's funny, I had enough ice on my driveway to skate no problem (south of Indy), rotating the truck and car in the garage to keep ice to a minimum. Had to run the truck for about 20 mins to get the ice melted enough to scrape off. Crazy, and more is on the way. Be safe!

I just got out of work early due to the storm:xyxthumbs:

Maybe if I can get a heater for the garage on the way home I will have a chance to play with the new Flex Im the MAN

Got to work from home today, but at lunch went out to get the mail and about busted my tail on the driveway, solid clear sheet of ice, about 1/2" thick. It's been freezing rain and now sleet non stop, hoping we don't lose power or we will be without for a while I'm guessing... Just waiting it out and praying for spring!

Tom

Westside Indianapolis here....not problems going to work this morning.....comming home was a bit tricky though. Kinda wondering what tomorrow morning will be like!

Driving a tractor trailer out of Indy was a b***h and then blew a tire in IL which took 3hrs waiting for a vendor to change. Took all of my 14hrs to reach MN and now the whole midwest system is shut down and I'm stuck in the motel up here in Owatona MN. :dblthumb2: Must be that global warming thing !
