Just turned on the weather chanel here in Owatonna and the low tonite will be -5 with a high tomorrow of 0.

I'm beginning to feel like we're in one of those apocalyptic movies...or at least that Twilight Zone where the girl is delirious and is dreaming that the Earth has been knocked off its orbit and is too close to the sun and the temperature is really high...and she wakes up from her fever to find that the planet has been knocked off its orbit and it's too far from the sun and everyone is slowly freezing to death...

Blizzard and Winter Storm warnings cover the state as a combination of dry, heavy snows with powerful winds move through. High snows totals are anticipated with totals ranging from 4 to 16” across eastern Iowa, with some higher totals possible. Overnight the winds will cause snow drifts of 3 to 6 feet make travel difficult, if not impossible

Here in KC, Mo about 15 inches of snow and 13 degrees :bash:

Here in houston we are in the mid 30's to low 40's! And its freezing!!!!! Well i just cant tolerate the cold at all... Supposetly we are going to have some snow on friday! When it "snows" here... You have to scoop the snow out of two hoods to get a decent size snowball! Lol!

It is, part of global warming is the change in sea currents and the path taken by heat energy, which in turn can make winters colder in some areas.

Westside Indianapolis here....not problems going to work this morning.....comming home was a bit tricky though. Kinda wondering what tomorrow morning will be like!

Wasnt to bad. Few bad spots. Very little traffic on the road at 5:30 this morning

Yesterday Rockville Road (US36) wasnt very good. They had plowed the fast lane and the slow lane especially the bridge over 465 was rough literally. They had plowed the other lane into the slow lane.

My driveway has a 4" thick sheet of ice. Garage door almost didnt open this morning

Just came in from moving snow (again)...-9 with a WC of -35...Just a tad nippy.
