Quick review

First off this thing is built like a tank!
Much much beefier than other sprayers I have used.

Pros
Foam without pressure washer (I have 3 pw but this will be used for wheels and tires)
Very sturdy
Can be filled with compressed air without modification
Makes great foam
3 different foaming tubes/styles of foam
Extra filters
Great handle/gun

Cons
Cost to some? I think it's worth it

I have a tiny pancake air compressor that I used to fill it up the first time. Then I tried my 18v ryobi air compressor/inflator.
Sure most of you guys have some type of tire inflator if you don't have a big compressor.

It took the ryobi inflator 2min and 5 seconds to fill it to fully pressurized with just over a gallon of liquid.

The video is with brake buster (10 ounces plus a gallon of water) super diluted and made great foam.

Sorry I'm not understanding how you fill it, I thought it had a valve stem like what's found on a car to fill it or do I need to use the thin thing used to fill a sports ball with

How long does it last once fully pressurized? Few minutes to do a full car?

I usually have to pump my IK 9 up 3x's but keep in mind I'm doing the wheelwells, tires and wheels as well as the car and I like to be thorough

I air mine up once for all 4 wheels tires wheel wells etc

Let out the excess pressure afterwards

Can't really compare the 2, the Worx is a battery powered washer used to rinse down soap and the IK Foam 9 is a foamer to apply soap or various cleaners. I use them together to keep my ride looking its best

Got a chance to play with the new Foam Pro 12 today. Worked out real well honestly.

Filled it up with 1.5 gallons of water and then put about 3 ounces of CG Honey Dew because it was in reach. Have it a full charge (hand pumped, didn't use the valve) and used the standard foam setting and it did great. I went around the car twice, as said it was fully pressurized and somewhere in the middle I have it another 20 pumps or so. (MK7 GTI for reference)

It was an enjoyable experience and adds a lot of versatility for me now. Dwell time was quite good, better than using a pressure washer/foam gun combo I think. Even with something that isn't very strong at all like the CG soap it really broke down a lot of the dirt and grime. (Car was driven in the rain before I foamed the car.

I'll play more in the future with the other foam settings and different dilutions and different shampoos.

Used IK foam 12 for 1st time tonight. Cant compare to the 9 but it worked out great. Needed pumped up 3 times to cover whole car about 1.5 times. Good quality foam. I used with BH auto foam so not super foamy but did its job.

Note for people looking onto this and other larger foamers out their. I really didnt want to go with IK but when comparing to Marolex and the Foam it.... all looked pretty good. If using for wheels or other products i probably woulda went Marolex. Im using for foaming the entire vehichle and this has a wider spray pattern and looks like more volume. Got around car pretty fast.

Build quality is solid but i didnt like that all parts where screwing together were plastic with plastic threads. Only complaint
