Just wanted to poke my head in.
Today, I did work at a car lot. 26 car washes and 3 details. When I say detail, that means I detail the inside and engine, and spot buff what nooeds to be done on the exterior, then wax. Started at 7:30 this morning and finished around 6ish PM. Been extremely busy the last 2 weeks. Barely have time to eat dinner at night.
Alot of dealer work lately. Not great money, but it keeps me busy, and the cars do not have to be swirl free.

Anyways, I am alive and kicking...sore though....and sun burnt.......close to 100* today. Crazy Texas Weather!!!!!

Soon you are going to give up those cheap but a lot washes. I guess if it is the same place it is ok, but if you had to travel to like 10 places, wouldn't make sense. Long day though, so keep hydrated.

26 car washes and 3 details in one day? GG man, what kind of speed are you taking? Me, just shoot me now. I know you are wore out. Hope the money gets better!

yea, the 26 washes was a "car lot wash". Nothing pretty....just spray off and dry. Hey, they don't care about the cars, why should I....LOL
took about 2-2.5 hours to do that. Then I grabbed some breakfast and headed back to the lot. Everything was at the same place, so no traveling to and from all day. Detailed out a Ram 1500 Quad cab, Ford F150, and a Dodge Stratus.
Did a 99 Suburban the day before for them. said it was not too bad, but ended up at 10 hours....and that was doing wholeslae work.......plus I had to remove the window tint.

I'll tell you what though....I was wearing a sleevless shirt, and you can bet your rear that I will wear sunblock next time. Taking a shower this morning was torture! Took me an hour to get moving around when I woke up as well. stiff everywhere........(pun not intended.)
I only do dealer work for this one lot. I used to work there and the guys and owner are good people.
