Was up at the lake. Lot of fun, and very sore now, broke my wakeboard and have the bruise/strawberry on my ass to prove it, just ask Meghan:D . But I took my surfboard behind the boat, hehe. My truck needs a good wash now, going 80+ the whole way up, my front end was bombarded by bugs, hard ones too. Buggers hit the windshield with a loud "THWACK" even over my exhaust and music lol. Was a big ol' party, we go up to the house and my mother and family have friends over from back when they were in high school to party with lol, put it this way, one of my mothers friends still goes by the name Streaker after all these years, guess why lol, little ones call him Uncle Streaker.

Have some cool pics I'll post up. Think I drank enough beer to last me for a couple weeks, I love my Yuengling.

Stop playing honey, you already saw it, I was in too much pain to have any fun when I got back yesterday;) :D . I'm sitting in my office leaning sidways b/c that left buttcheek hurts.

When you say you were up at "the lake" you don't mean lake okechobee do you?

No, but I know that I am totally lost. I see Surfer is up in Boca, but I don't know what lake he's talking about. The only lake I can think of is Okechobee.

We have a house up in Lake Placid (FL), we're on Lake June. But you could consider it redneckville:D .
 
Oh man!! All I can say is a big whopping DUH!!! Of course lake placid. I tell you, Meghan don't ever have kids, they suck your brains right out of ya. I haven't had a coherent thought in years! And I know there must be tons of lakes in Fla with all the water we have but I'll be damned if I could remember any one other than Okechobee. Ay, I need a vacation!

No, I can tell you what you need, a vacation from the kids! :awesome: You, the hubby, a gallon of Rum Runners :cheers: and dont forget to leave the phone home.:righton: Wouldn't that be great, you can do it in about 15 years when they all turn 18. LOL
 
LOL! But my husband is the biggest kid of them all! lol Seriously though it would be nice to get a full night's sleep once and awhile and to actually have my thoughts to myself. I think that's why I love detailing so much. I put on the head phones and listen to music and tune out the world for a few hours. I get to play in the water and run my hands all over my car and when I'm done it always seems to soon. I think that's why I'm so obsessive about every thiing in my car, it's an opportunity to escape. :)

I'm with you on this! Detailing gets me some alone time from the family choas. I used to travel for a living (consultant) and I spent too much time away from home, but the upside was the quiet hotel room.
 
Apply for that TV show. I think they have it on fox and abc. Pretty funny actually.

FloridaNative, you know the Lake Placid area? Current house up there is on Lake June, but the one before we had was on Lake Placid. Picking up there, not really the quiet laid back town it used to be, lot's of large houses going up on the lakes. I usually take 710 to 70 to 27 to get there, 70 was a beotch with construction, especially around midnight when I finally made it up.
