I haven't had back surgery, but i did have knee surgery and could not walk for 6 months. Worst pain of my life, but i made it alright. You will be just fine and you be back better than ever my friend.
Thoughts and prayers are with you my freind. What we have, and are able to do today must be appreciated because it can all change tommorow. Miracles do happen and keep your hopes up because we all are. Hang in there my freind, and for all of us keep this in mind to take care of our bodies and health as we do on our vehicles we work on. Stretch often, and reduce body strain.
I have a pretty good idea of what you are feeling: I also have a lower back problem and in the last two years I have received several shots of betamethasone to cope with the pain and all the associated problems of such a condition.
I still haven't got any numbness or tickling: so, the doctors still don't think about surgery. But it will be in my near future, I think...
Thanks again everyone.
I see my doctor this Friday to go over my surgery, the date, etc.
Should be real soon.
Btw. Today my wife gets back in her RAV , I walked out to greet her and noticed a long scratch, looks like a shopping buggy to me, it will have to wait until I feel good enough to remove it.
It's killing me not to go out there and fix it but I know better.
Maybe she'll pick up the DA and get after it
Thankcyou:dblthumb2:
You see I'm one with a lot of faith so I beleive your prayer will be answered.
It makes me feel good for those who pray for me and never met them.
Thanks again mate, I need them.
Best luck with your surgery. Please adhere to the recovery procedures (rest, no straining, etc) to ensure a speedy recovery. Don't rush it and you'll be back in no time.
