I have decided on purchasing Gyeon Mohs and applying it to my GMC Sierra this spring. I've watched several videos (Thanks Guz) on it and feel like it is a good beginner coating to apply. Of course, I do have a couple of questions for the experts.

- I mainly do risneless washes because I have no shade and a black truck, plus my truck won't fit in my garage without banging the antenna on the door. Will continuous rinseless washes (CarPro Ech2o is what I have on hand) going to degrade the coating? Is there something else I should use for washing?
- As a continuation of the above question, I plan on applying the coating in my garage (going to bang the antenna), but the azz end of my truck will hang out of my garage. I am going to have to park it outside overnight after applying the coating - if I add a layer of Cure after the coating dries should that take care of my don't get water on it fears?
- Prior to applying the coating, I was going to polish the truck with Gyeon's primer polish. Is their 120ml bottle enough for a full size truck - i can't wrap my head around how large of a bottle that is.
- Any concerns with using Car Pro Eraser as the wipe down prior to the coating application?

Feel free to pass along any other tips or advice.
Thanks,
Adam

No, rinseless wash won't degrade the coating. The use for Cure you suggest is one of the listed uses...so yes.

As far as the primer polish, first of all, I had no idea that Gyeon sold all their polishes in such a small bottle, as well as 1000ml. The 120ml is about 4 oz, I've never used their primer polish, but hard for me to imagine you would have to use more than that even on a big truck. And yes, the Eraser should be fine, even though some people will recommend using the Gyeon prep, to stay within the brand/family.

I still had about half of that tiny bottle after doing my wife’s Navigator L. Shouldn’t be a problem.

Just polished my Tacoma yesterday. Extended cab, 6 ft bed with a cap so the cap gets polished as well. I guesstimate I used 4-5 ounces for my truck.

You've already got plenty of answers on most of your questions, but I can anwer the Eraser question for certain: yes it will work.

Eraser is my go-to panel prep and I've used with coating from three different brands, to include an application of Gyeon Mohs EVO; it worked just fine.

The 4oz bottle will be enough for that. You dont need much of that primer polish to get the job done.

Just be mindful of cure if you have never used it before, for me atleast it liked to streak on black paint. So be light handed on the amount used.

Mohs is a nice coating, but is known to clog sooner than some other coatings so be sure to do your decon washes sooner than you would for a quartz coating.

My 2 cents would ve to have a bottle of labocosmetica primus 2.0 and purifica on hand for the decon washes. Also a iron remover should be added into that regimin, use whatever brand you want but my choice would be labocosmetica sidero.

120ml is plenty. Just use 2 small dots per section. I'm on my second small bottle of gyeon primer. If you work it down enough it almost melts into the paint.

I found the same. Diluting it 1:1 with water helped, but it was still tricky. It's the main reason I quit using it. If you're able to get it right it looks amazing, but not worth the hassle to me.

The Ceramic Detailer is a bit better, but still somewhat prone to streaking as well. I'm not convinced it isn't diluted Cure.
