  • Has no cleaners
  • Is carnauba based
  • Does not stain trim

Thanks!

Yesterday I used Meguiars wax as you dry. Did not stain the plastic trim on my wife's Durango. I sprayed everywhere. Whole exterior, windows inside and outside.

+1 for Optimum Car Wax. It checks all the boxes you are looking for.

Curious why you care about carnauba if you get the same look. Aquawax looks almost identical to Opt Spray to me, is less expensive, and as durable if not more. (Testing these side-by-side right now. Should have results in 2-6 weeks.)

Does it have UV inhibitors? OCW and McKee's spray wax does. UV inhibitors are important where I live because the sun shines for the majority of the year.
No, it doesn't have UV inhibitors

Aquawax? I believe the answer for UV protection is yes. I haven't verified this personally. People have posted here that DG has confirmed that all their LSPs have UV protection. From a post way back in 2007:

I asked their Chemist (Bill ???) last year this very question and he assured me their last step products such as Aquawax, Total Performance Polish, etc, provided plenty of UV protection.

Opt Spray Wax apparently has UVA and UVB blockers. No idea how that compares to AW. In my experience Opt Spray Wax is excellent. If you want assurance of UV protection it may be the better way to go.

Wish I had a UV meter - would be easy to test.

What a sleeper product nobody talks about! I want to add STONER SPEED BEAD to the list. I have used this as a drying aid in the past, and the protection and gloss it adds is off the chart. This product simply put is amazing. And it is currently on BOGO.

Stoner Speed Bead Quick Detailer
