I'm loving 32 MPG!

For Christmas I bought myself a new car.

I haven't taken pictures of mine yet (maybe I can talk Meghan into taking a few at lunch), here is what my new car looks like.

2008 Honda Civic EX Coupe Alabaster Silver Metallic

This picture doesn't do it justice, it looks better in person. I've been averaging 32 mpg doing city and highway driving.

I'm going to spend all day Saturday prepping the paint and applying Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.

Planned mods: Tint the windows, HIDs, foglights, K&N intake

Thanks Norah! The dealer had a black Civic EX and when I saw all of the swirls that were already installed, I came to my senses and got silver since I drive the car everyday and it isn't going to be garaged at night. My car still had plastic on it when I first saw it and I let them take the plastic off but didn't let them wash it.

I was dreaming about a 2009 Camaro but I commute alot across the state of Florida and I've always been a fan of Hondas and Acuras ever since I had an Acura Integra that I put 200,000 miles on so for me, this was the perfect choice.

That's what I'm talking about. I wanted a car that I will still think is great after 5 years and Honda had the best reputation for reliability, quality and resale value.

If gas keeps going up, I'm going to buy a Honda too..........a scooter!! Nice ride big "D"! My wife and I bought an Accord 2 years ago and couldn't be happier. Great car. I actually considered a Civic for myself.
