but i'm looking for a tire dressing that is not shinny. I like the look of a clean tire. Problem is that it doesn't last. Is there something out there that will preserve the look. I drive on dirt roads too so it can't be sticky. And if it held up to rain a bit that would be sweet. Very product i have looked at talks about its shine.

Same for an interior protectant. I want a natural look that doesn't attract dirt. I drive and work out in the country so the first time i open my door i don't want the dash to be a dust magnet.

For tires I just use a natural no shine interior protectant, and a tire brush. Usually comes out looking like a new tire with no shine.

My go-to for satin and flat black dressing is straight or diluted Poorboy's World Bold 'N Bright Tire Dressing. Easy as pie and smells like Pina Colada (coconut), and does actually last pretty long. You can reapply if you want more "pop" to your tire!

Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel... lasts weeks (even through washing) and has a nice sheen but is not glossy. Love the stuff.

EDIT: also works great as a trim restorer and in engine bays.

Does the water based stuff hold up to a rain or i guess snow as the season is rapidly approching here.

Traveling dirt roads is going to be your biggest obstacle. IMO you will NEVER find a product that meets your expectations

I know it's not the answer you wanted, but it's all that I have

Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel 3.0 is your best bet. Super dark black color when applied. I get two weeks out if it even when it rains. The key is to clean your tires really well before applying. Poorboys APC or Amazing roll off do a great job at this. Then DRY your tires completely. Apply dressing and let soak in for as long as possible. If you must drive your car right after application, wait at least 15 mins.

Hope this helps,
Brian

Ya this is what i have found so far. But i have not tired any of the products listed here, most because i'm in Canada and i have no idea if anyone stocks them. I'll have to save up a big order to put in to autogeek again

I like duragloss 253. Darkens tires with low sheen and has great durability.

Honestly the best answer for you is Tuff Shine. It's not "shiny" at all and is a coating, so its as easy to clean your tire as it is to clean your paint.

TS is all I use on my DD, and if you ask me its a miracle product. I just dropped 50 bucks for another measly 16oz bottle, only because it blows everything else away. I have have plethora of "dressings", but TS is the way to go for DD.

going to go with opti bond
looks good
lasts
no dust or browning
reasonable
can be used on trim
water based
no sling
list goes on and on ....

MEGS WBD or Aerospace 303

For your situation with the dirt roads, I agree Tuff Shine is the way to go.

THIS!

Plus of course Tuff Shine as you see gets a lot of love. (I don't have it, can't say.) I did get a bottle of freebie DP Tire Gel a while back and it does a decent job as well, (sort of a mint scent). Doesn't apply as well/smooth and satin as Opti Bond though.

You'll want to get a Carrand tire brush to apply with. I switched to them late in the game, although still have some dedicated tire sponges.

The interior, you want to seriously look at 303 Aerospace Protectant. Very natural, no sticky film, and added UV block. :)

Auto Finesse Satin - Tire Gel one coat leaves it matt black the more coats you add the more shine you get. For interior I use Sonax dash cleaner smells good and doesn't attract dust.

Anything from Meguiars? That i can get local, I hit up a few auto stores today and they had none of this stuff.:(
