From what everyone is saying, I need to get a Porter Cable and stop waxing my cars by hand. I'm, ready to purchase one....I see they have a few packages available with pads...polishes etc. Can anyone steer me in the right direction on what package to get?
I have a 2006 metallic blue Audi A6, a 2001 Acura TL (the paint is in rough shape and needs a REAL GOOD polishing, compounding and waxing. This car is pearlescent white. I also have a 1998 Q45 that has just been painted....not waxed yet in Black! So....please let me know what I need as I will use my 15% birthday discount to purchase!! Thanks in advance! :applause:
 
I would go with the Optimum Package.. and then add some Nattys blue paste wax great for the money
 
I was looking at the Porter Cable Pad Kit, looks like a nice starter set and then also buy some Optimum and Natty's. Thanks for the suggestion!!
 
the poorboys kit is a great kit...has everything you need...i would use the birthday code on some 303 protectant, 303 cleaner, optimum no rinse and a car wash soap of your choice...
 
Thanks for all the advise. It looks like I'm narrowing it down to the Porter Cable Pad Kit or the poorboys kit.....I can't decide between the two? From what I heard Natty's Blue is the best for my Dark Blue metallic paint or Pinnacle Souverän and P21S Concours Carnauba Car Wax and then top it off with some Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze. Any other suggestions before I break out my credit card??

You'll LOVE Souveran AND NB. If you were to buy two waxes, NB and Souveran for sure!

yah, skip the other concours wax - has a lot of bees wax. souveran is the best.
i think the xmt kit is terrific!!!! at least look at it before you buy, ok?

Thanks Nick!! Lauren, are saying skip the Natty's Blue? Everyone talks so highly of it. You probably saw my car before but here's the link again. I thought I got a great deep glossy shine from the 4 step Meg process. Of course I want even better which is why I'm buying a PC and high end product. I'm very curious to see how much better it's going to look.

She meant skip P21s. Not NB.
