Importance of the word 'detailing' in a business name

I use

"auto detail RVA"
and below it it says "premium auto care"

Face book is a great marketing tool, but has its limitation and is free, what ever works for you may not work for everyone else .where all different websites can be good if you live in New England where for 4 months things are slow and you need every available marketing tool to stay afloat during the winter.

There is a detailer not far from me with a YouTube channel and he always talks about how most of his work comes from his website now. I guess it all depends on who you ask and where you work.

No turning back now, going all in.

90 percent is word of mouth in this business,or,they stop and see you working and you meet eachothers personality if he or she senses trust and you're not on pills which they don't know,on the web price is right close the sale.high end work doesn't happen everyday or may not happen for a month,I personally, would save my cash and go to a car show, here's a good example I paid 75 bucks to put my van in the show and made 2300 over a 3 month period and 100 business cards floating out there.everyone has there own beliefs and methods of getting business no one won is wrong there's never any guarantee over the web.i paid 7 k for customized post cards to 50000 homes and got nothing from it .all you need is 5 high end clients now you have 10 etc.i have a moving billboard everyday that should be plenty.rod 73 I highly advise you don't spend on a web .use Facebook start from there.

I wonder what happend to the gentlemen, who made 150000k and was holding some kind of seminar, forum members said they would attend no feedback.

I put it in my name because I'm surrounded by "Car Washers"

I'm a high quality paint correction specialist, NOT A CAR WASHER!

Detailing By M is plastered all over my stuff so people can tell that I'm not a car washer.

I get huge compliments on my branding and allot of people come to me because I'm a detailer and they are sick of car washers.

So yes put it in your name if you want to be separated from the car washers/Hack detailers.

Strive to be the best detailer in your area and separate your self from the hacks.

i guess it would also matter if you're trying to focus on one type of work over another...

I would rather have detailing in my name and people sometimes think of stereotypical detailers than not have it in my name and the prospective customer not make the connection at all.

In my experience with the past business' I have owned having a website, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram were invaluable. I gained a majority of my clients that way. That being said, when your first starting out word of mouth will get you going but only so far. People will find you if you are professional and offer fantastic customer service. I've always used my city (or island) in my website name, it really helps with the rankings when people search for you. JM2C

There was a lot of feedback. Didn't go so well since the seminar turned into a ploy to sell a computer based class.

I recently went with the basic formula to my name too!

Near where I live are a bunch of vacuum and wax "detailers". As mentioned most people near here I would chance the idea that that's all they know.
