This is a definite must buy, IMO. You can use it on everything in your interior(minus capet/upholstery). Being that it's a protectant, it also has mild cleaners. So, if your interior is in half way decent shape, this is all you need to clean, refresh, and protect.

I've tried a few other popular cleaner/protectants, but they all were too thick for my taste. As a result of being to thick, they tended to be somewhat on the sticky side, and required buffing thereafter. Not so with Detailer's Interior Surface Protectant. It sprays a fine mist that wipes on evenly AND dries to the touch! No excess buffing required! No sticky feeling. It leaves your interior feeling silky smooth and soft. I like to clean/apply with a MF applicator.

As far as looks, it's definitely not shiny or greasy, not at all. It doesn't really change the sheen, just darkens the finish. PERFECT! It leaves a very nourished and healthy look.

Does it last as long as Ultima Interior Protectant? No. I apply it once a week, and I'm very confident it will keep my interior looking and feeling new as long as I have the car. Super easy to use and gives great results! :props: It takes me 10-15 minutes to do my full interior! :dblthumb2:

DETAILER'S NAILED IT WITH THIS ONE!!!!!!

BEST THING IS, IT'S ON BOGO RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Now onto to a few pics....

Nice pics and great write up! Looks really good.

Nice Mark! I like that nice flat and clean look.
Thanks, Ryan!

It definitely gives that look!

There's different plastic materials used in my Camaro. As you can see in the pics, the center console, even stripped of any cleaners/protectants, still has a sheen to it. DP just darkened the finish. On the door, the plastic has no natural sheen, and DP added no sheen, just darkened it(same with the dash)!!

Awesome!! :dblthumb2:

Mark,

Nice write up, pics, and car! You and I "talked" about this product before and I told you it was to shiny for me. I use it weekly on my wife's car and I have to buff it a little to

keep down the sheen. Your pics don't support that theory at all. It must be the different texture of the plastic. Nice product though. I'll always keep that on the shelf.

Thanks, Chet.

I agree, certain textures of plastic will react differently to the same product. In my case, this stuff is golden!

Any better than Optimum Protectant? Just wondering how they both compare...

I'm glad this one doesn't look anything like that 303 Aerospace satin finish, I hate the stuff!

It's more matte than Optimum Protectant, IME. Being thinner, it sprays a lot easier out of the bottle compared to Optimum, and dries to the touch better.

Not sure why people say 303 is matte? I think the exact opposite.

303AP is satin, that's why I sold my gallon of the stuff.. Hate it.

what does it smell like ?

banana's ? like the interior cleaner ?

Mark, have you polished the white car yet ? white is a chore to polish out while seeing the defects. I have found that dark room polishing works best. Or very early in the morning with halogens.

Because its so hard to see, I only use products I fully know and trust will finish down perfectly.

btw, I have found that fuzion and the WG quick detailer make white look super sharp. expensive, but I think they give it the best look.

Hey Mike, haven't polished it yet. I did a quick test spot, and you're not kidding, it's a chore!!!! I'm gonna use a dark garage(with halogens) for sure!

Yeah, because of it being such a chore, I do a test spot, make sure the product works very swiftly and fool proof, and then I just go over the car entire car, checking only about 1 spot per panel.

One my white car, the best products that I know I can trust everytime without question are Menzerna polish's. SIP, Power Finish and Super Finish. I could polish the car with my eyes closed with these products and know for sure they are working everytime.

Mark, the pictures look great and I actually like the finish as well. I'm not an interior dressing kind of guy, but that one could sway me. Just curious if you have tried Chemical Guys Silk Shine? I just got a bottle but haven't had the chance to use it.

great review! I think I prefer 303AP's look over that one, its actually not satin at all for my interior, it leaves a nice shine but its not overpowering. But I like a little shine in my interior over the matte look.

Great review Mark. :dblthumb2:

You'll be seeing a new formula of another popular DP product later on today. I think it will get your stamp of approval Mark. :)

indeed mark. DP nailed it with this product. been using it for some time. finishing up on a bottle and have one of the new formulas ready to go. never found anything better for the interior plastics/vinyl. leaves a perfect finish. :xyxthumbs:

I bought the DP Total Interior Cleaner and Protectant on bogo awhile back. It's a great combo and the cleaner works great as a pretreatment to the protectant. Fantastic products and I would highly recommend them. This combo was my go to interior product until I found the 1z cockpit premium.

Thanks, Nick!!

I'll be looking for the new formula product! Im the MAN :props:

I like it, just dont like the banana smell. Actually, I like the smell, it just isnt what I want my interior to smell like. If it smelled like leather I would be BOGO'ing it.
