I had a headlight correction tonight and had to breakout the sandpaper.
Here's what the headlight's looked light before correction:
This was after using 800 grit and a electric drill (1500 RPM's):
This is after wiping down after using the 3000 grit, wet sand (1500 RPM's):
and then the finished light's after some rubbing compound and a orange pad (1500 RPM's):
When I was finished,I sealed them up with some GTechniq. They should stay clean for a long time.
Needless to say but it was a quick $50 for about an hour of work.
Tomorrow I have another headlight restore for a customer but this one will be very severe.
Round II tomorrow (with pic's)
.
